POOMSOFT was founded in 1978 by Marty Poom, a genius programmer and graphic artist who attended The Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The company's first piece of Software was a failed operating system known as POOM OS. POOMSOFT later hit it big with the liscensed title "Mel Gibson's Safari". The franchise became immensly succesfull with two sequels and an animated tv series. POOMSOFT is dedicated to the advancement of technology and creating affordable computer hardware for the public.
